I love The Wisner. I love the Watson and it came first… I realise I am spoilt with shoes. I know what I like and, when it comes to shoes, I also know how to make it happen...! Putting a style onto another shape, and therefore turning it into something completely different without all the work of designing something new, may seem like a con. In my head, it did for a second. But having worn both the Watson and the Wisner (same style but on different shapes), I feel that, although all the components covering the foot are pretty much the same, they are visually and physically completely different shoes. Like really knowing two friends who happen to be twins...
In this case, The Wisner in lizard is made in an upcycled, Italian-tanned lizard. A beautiful, metallic, auburn finish. Each foot is cut from one skin in one piece. What would be wasted has been used for covering the platform and the heel. This is a silently elegant shoe that belongs on the foot of a thoughtful person. I only managed to find 12 skins, so that is 6 thoughtful people. I hope they find a good home, a fun home, an intelligent home, and a silly home... They deserve it...

FIT:
Again, like a clog, this style is short in the toe but has volume. Voluminous rather then very wide (the sole is not especially wide). Basically roomy in the toes and width. The vamp line, which holds the shoe on the foot, is normal, so a narrow foot can comfortably wear this shoe as well. The toe is surprisingly short and your foot should come to the end of the shoe so, if you have long feet, a half size up may be necessary...
