The Watson in Black Paint : PHOS PHORO X ZOE LEE COLLABORATION

PHOS PHORO is a label started by my lovely friend, Spencer, probably around the same time I started my label. He lives in Australia and is as interested and knowledgable about cloth as I am with leather...! It's a breath of fresh air to meet a designer who really knows about cloth as much as they know about pattern cutting. I feel that they are few and far between nowadays. PHOSPHORO is a label that makes me excited about clothes again... So we decided to do some shoes together to sit next to his clothes. It wasn't hard to get it right, we are well aligned. This is what we came up with...

The strapless Watson in a hand-painted black ink, the base leather is a white crust calfskin and the inks used were specifically developed to be non-toxic. A simple slipper with an elegant silhouette. Super comfortable. Hand-stitched sole, foldable construction, cut from one piece of leather. Calf-lined in upcycled leather. Memory foam-lined insole board.

Narrow at first, but giving. Long in the toe. Pretty true to size..
