I love this shoe... I have worn it solidly on some of my best holidays and travels....On beaches, boats, through forests...I wore them while the villa I stayed in turned into a river and they've stayed in pretty good nic...The sole needs reinforcing if you see it thinning out too much... As each foot is crocheted from one strand of yarn (200 metres of Italian nylon elastic per the pair!) you don't want to wear through the upper as it will unravel (it takes a lot to get it to this stage, I have only seen it once by a friend who literally wore them everyday for three years without resoling them....). This shoe is based on one I saw that I think was a popular style in the 50's/60's. I spent 18 months trialling different yarns... Durability, elastic strength and performance... And of course look.. This style fold completely like a dance shoe.. There is 10mm lift in the heel concealed in the back under memory foam for extra comfort.....
FIT:
Fits wide, a narrow foot could go down a size or half... Can accommodate bunions very comfortably as the entire upper is elastic.
