This is a clog like shoe. It feels like a clog when worn. The shape was based on an old french 1930's shoe that I found under a pile of  old dusty hand woven linen sheets… (I love old loom woven linen fabric in any state) in a flea market on the outskirts of Paris. The shape of the toe was beautiful but the silhouette too predictable... I added 7mm to the front platform, I worried about losing the elegant shape but after wearing this style in the multiples of leathers and colours that have been chosen over the years this style is silently sophisticated.... It also is a good frame for presenting  a beautiful leather. The Embossed Fan version is a printed and embossed calfskin. The base is black and the print is white and the effect is the reverse due to the embossing. It looks like a black print on white but it is white on black. This allows the black to show through the white creating an overall blue colour effect. It's a very serene print if that is possible ?! I have recreated this version as I managed to find a little more of this beautiful leather and could think of a better style to use it for. 

The heel and platform are covered in a real stone veneer. no two platforms or two heels are the same and the material is pretty hard wearing.. !

And again a complimentary stretching service is available on one or both shoes. ( A half size in the width only can be gained.) 

FIT:

Short in the toe but voluminous. The feel when walking is like a clog and may take a little getting used to. If worn while cycling I advise an extra layer added to the toe top of the sole.

22mm platform.

Printed and embossed Italian calfskin. Lined in Italian calfskin. Stone veneer heel and platform cover.
