Description

The Lucille in blue, a beautiful soft buttery vegetal tanned goatskin from one of my favorite tanneries that specialises in goatskin in the south of France.  This tannery really allows the natural organic qualities of the skins to shine through.... With some vegetal tanning certain colours can be very sensitive to light and or hard to repeat accurately... This was one of those leathers....Blue is a particularly light sensitive colour for leather so the variations of blue to grey in this one style (across the sizes) is quite visible.  I love all the shades so this has not bothered debut if you prefer one over the other I would be happy to send you a picture of the exact colour in your size..... Bear in mind though that eventually the blue will fade to grey... Depending on how good you are at putting these shoes back in the box when not worn will keep the blue longer.... They're like a cinderella..... Each one will eventually hit midnight and turn grey.....(albeit a beautiful grey) But the veg tan allows for a darkening and a particular shine that really just becomes more beautiful with age.....I love my pair. I have worn them summer after summer... The leather will wipe clean but I have to say its not as hardwearing as I would have liked.. But its not exactly the kind of style you'd wear on a hike.....
75mm heel, memory foam lined insole, rubber injection anti-slide in the leather stacked sole.
Wear with floaty dresses, trousers, jeans anything really.... They're an easy wear...
FIT:
Snug on the front which is good as the shoe needs to stay on.. Takes the form of the foot easily then pretty much stays on and is super comfortable... true to size although it might not feel that way to start...
